Welcome to RecWeb

The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) is responsible for the provision and management of recreation facilities within State forest, which attract an estimated 6 million visitor days per year.
 
RecWeb is an easy to use interactive database, created to assist with the management of recreational assets within State forest.
 

DELWP field staff, who are responsible for maintaining these facilities, have full access to the database’s more advanced features, including:
 

  entering field risk assessments

  accessing priority task lists of repair works generated from risk assessments

  documenting and tracking of periodic maintenance tasks

  registering access closure of sites and tracks, where required

  generating reports

 

A view only version of the database can be used by all DELWP staff to view general information regarding recreation sites and tracks within State forests, as well as highly accurate maps of their location and attributes. To access the mapping component of RecWeb (MapShare) click in the database.

To enter RecWeb, click on the navigation bar (top left of the screen) and you will be able to view all general information within Victoria. If you are a registered user please enter your user name and password and click . To register for access to management information click .
